2018 Cuyahoga Fair Wrapup
This year we were at the Cuyahoga County Fair, in Berea Ohio, from Thursday – Sunday August 8 – 12. NEOLUG had as much fun as the nearly 250,000 fair visitors this year.
We had even more people show up this year to look at the wonders we created such as a mini Cuyahoga County Fair, Egypt, and other creations from the our member artists. The miniaturization of Professor Bubblemaker’s Beautiful Bubble Ballet was a huge hit with both visitors and the professor himself. NEOLUG returns to Cuyahoga Fair
NEOLUG will be returning to Cuyahoga County’s Fair on Thursday, August 9 – Sunday, August 12. We will be featuring a minifair along with plenty of other new and favorite items. Here’s a sneak peak at what is planned to be there:
The fair is open 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM every day, and opens at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
NEOLUG at Westlake Porter Library
NEOLUG had as much fun as the attendees of the event. There were some build in progress, like Adrian Drake’s work on Deep Space 9:

NEOLUG is returning to the Westlake Porter Public Library!
On Saturday, July 14, 2017, NEOLUG will display amazing LEGO creations at the Westlake Porter Public Library. The event is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and it’s free and open to the public.
No registration required for any of the events. If you’re looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday, head over to the library, located at 27333 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake, OH 44145.

NEOLUG at the International Women’s Air & Space Museum
NEOLUG participated again this year at The International Women’s Air & Space Museum annual Family Day on May 5, 2018. This year, NEOLUG featured several LEGO® creations during the event including Todd Wolf’s Mather recreation.
The surprise of the event was when President Trump landed at the airport for an event that was being held later that day in Cleveland Ohio.
NEOLUG members build their own custom Brickheadz
NEOLUG’s April group meeting was comprised of fun, food, and best of all, playing with LEGO bricks. Using multiple copies of the Go Brick Me set, NEOLUG members built custom BrickHeadz for each other. The leftover pieces were also put to good use in a set draft.
Each member went home with a life-like (albeit somewhat blocky) version of themselves. Here’s EJ Bocan posing with his custom Brickheadz built by Ken Cefaratti.
